America's favorite degenerate DJ threw down a sick set of chunky house and deep tech funk at our December 8th party at the Safe House. The air was thick with the sweet aroma of "the kind," and two dirty Santas were sprawled out on the couch. Per usual the party kept going past 7am. This set was recorded at our 3rd annual all-building Halloween bash in the Safe House. Close to 1000 party people in costume came together for the party of the year. DJ Pap laid down this nice set of deep soulful house for us at the Safe House. Pap aka Black Mamba is 1/2 of the duo Naked Soul. He has been making music for decades with releases on Trax and Seasons to name a couple. Chunky and funky jackin' Chicago house music at its best. This set was recorded at Shifty Johnson's birthday bash on June 10th, 2006. The party was scheduled to end at 7am but we just let John keep beating it. The dancefloor stayed with him unitl we finally closed the doors close to 9am. This is one of the most requested house sets we recorded this year at the Safe House. Gracie made the trip to Chicago with vocalist Karina Nistal.
